Preventing Underage Play

You must be 18 or over to gamble in our UK based casino venues and bingo clubs. Our premises all undertake checks to ensure that no person under the legal age has access by asking for photo ID and recorded proof of age if someone looks below 21 years old (25 years old in Scotland).

You also must be at least 18 years old, of legal age in the country you’re playing in, or whichever is highest, to play with us online in the UK. All of our websites have age verification checks in place, so new customers cannot withdraw funds until they have passed these age checks and/or have provided proof of age documents.

We also take protecting young people and children from accessing our online sites very seriously, so we recommend that parents or guardians install filtering software such as Gamban, Gamblock, Betfilter, BetBlocker or Net Nanny to prevent this from happening. This controls content, blocks websites and sets up passwords to prevent gambling sites being accessed by those who are underage. More information can be found here

If you believe that your child or someone underage has been gambling, you can contact the company directly. If this is via a Rank brand you can find the contact information here. If it’s believed to have taken place at a Mecca Bingo club or Grosvenor Casinos venue, then please contact the manager of the club in question.

If you believe that your child or someone under 18 is not only gambling but is also experiencing problems as a result, then head to bigdeal.org.uk as they can provide help and advice for all those concerned.
